Heard a little while ago

Spotty and I were snuggling in my bed. He chin was in my right eye socket. His arms were entwined around my neck like a garrote. He was looking at my side of the bed where a movie poster was hanging. (The same one he slept under in his bassinet for 6 months). He then says quietly. “S”…”T”…”A”…”R”…”W”…”A”…”R”…”S”…”Starwars”…”Starwars, Starwars”…

I love you too Spotty Chop

OMG! He is SMART.

I'm embarrassed that the baby could "read" WalMart at just- turned-two-years old. He had a "little people's" truck and trailer with the little man driving, and I had got it at WalMart and the dumb thing had "WalMart" stamped on the trailer.
So if he saw that logo anywhere in the paper, on a food item, or a sign on the freeway, he recognized it.

Oh and he is SO aware. At about the same age, maybe a month over 2 yrs old, one day he was sitting in his high chair eating AND watching SpongeBob, so I took the opportunity that his back was to me and snuck a dead guppie out of the fish tank. I was also blocking with my own body, and did it really quick since I didn't want him to see and get upset. I thought I was being totally discreet and he was busy and did not even look my way at all.

I came out of the bathroom and he glanced at me but was still watching Spongebob and said "What do?" and I said (playing dumb), "What honey?" and he said "You put fishie toilet?" I lied and said "What? No honey!"
OMG. Kids are way smarter than we give them credit for.
