Thematic Photographic 8 - Monochrome

I am so pumped by Carmi's latest Theme. I LOVE B&W photos!
As I read other posters that join in the photo madness they wax on poetic about what thematic photos are all about. I am more a wax off kind of gal. But Carmi is always so sweet to post helpful comments that I just assume that everyone clicks on his name and heads over there. If you don't know what the hell I am talking about go here and do what he says.
Now for my photos.

This is one of my very favorite photos, Spotty was 3 months here, the two of us would sit outside early Sunday mornings and just enjoy the day

This is from a year later, this one makes me cry, Spotty always plays with my hair, don't know if you can see it, but he is holding onto daddy's hair

I don't think I need words for this one

I have no idea why this is in sepia and not B&W, all of these photos are done with B&W film that I have processed. This was camping last year.

I could have sworn I had B&W's from this year....

He's a little angel! I know that because I can see his halo in the first photo --- the bird bath is perfectly placed, 0:-)

I'm glad you are participating in the thematic. I don't have mine posted yet, but I'll have some!

Spotty is a handsome boy!

Regarding the B&W photo coming up sepia, my sources tell me that if you scanned a b&w print with your scanner in "color photo" mode, it could produce a sepia tone.

I love the camping scene in black and white (or sepia). A timeless activity (apart from the big plastic bin) whose timelessness is enhanced by the monochrome look.

(You're welcome to "pilfer" button images if you're interested... I really don't mind at all.)

These are great! Children just take on even MORE character in B&W photos, I think. The one of your adorable son when he was three months is the best!

(I am kind of a "wax off" kind of gal, too. Nice to meet ya!)

Thanks for the visit. Your photos are great. I didn't actually shoot black and white...used Picasa to change it. I'm gong to have to dig out my old SLR and buy some black and white film.

I love Superman in that photo. As you said, no caption needed.
